Before the exam day, at many training points, music was played from morning to night. Members diligently adjusted each movement, formation, costume and music, preparing for beautiful performances.
The Festival atmosphere also spread to residential areas. Dien Bien Phu Ward has mobilized residential groups, villages, agencies, units, and schools to establish teams and groups to participate in the Folk Dance Competition, Street Carnival and the "Solidarity Dance" joint performance program.

According to the plan, the Street Carnival is expected to start from 7/5 Square, follow Vo Nguyen Giap street to the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument ceremony yard.
Dien Bien International Dance Festival 2026 takes place from August 29-31. In addition to Youth Union Dance and Folk Dance, the teams also compete in the Creative Modern Dance category with the theme "Moving Heritage".
The opening ceremony of the event will take place on the evening of August 29, at 7-5 Square.
The event is an opportunity for clubs to exchange, spread the folk dance movement, and at the same time promote the unique cultural values and images of Dien Bien to people and domestic and international tourists.
