The 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 with the theme "Heritage Flow" will be held on an international scale from November 24 to November 30, with many unique artistic and cultural activities, bringing a unique new perspective and approach to history through the language of cinema, poetry, dance, music, visuals and technology.
Locals and tourists spent 7 exciting days with the "Heritage Flow" with: Opening program "Golden days of the ancient capital", Tea drinking, poetry recitation in a romantic space at Duc Thuy Son Assembly Hall, Street Festival..., attracting the attention of thousands of local people and domestic and international tourists.

Previously, at the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 on the evening of November 24, the audience was truly overwhelmed, moved, and filled with pride and love for Ninh Binh land and the homeland. With the theme "The Golden Age of the Ancient Capital", the Opening Ceremony of Ninh Binh Festival is like a "historical costume drama" recreating glorious historical milestones, "decoding" the stories hidden deep under the brilliant historical sediments of the ancient Hoa Lu Capital.
This can be considered the most special mechanical moving stage ever in Vietnam, with 21 3D mapping projectors, the performances are visually impressive... The program also mobilized more than 800 performers including artists, actors, art troupes, students, soldiers...
After the opening ceremony, on the evening of November 26, at Nui Thuy Park, Ninh Binh city, the program “Duc Thuy Son Assembly Hall” took place. This new destination aims to introduce to the public and tourists the priceless spiritual “heritage” at Duc Thuy Son - a special national monument in Ninh Binh.
Accordingly, Thuy Mountain Park was created as an outdoor contemporary poetry exhibition space combined with the experience of enjoying tea, reciting poetry, watching the moon and listening to traditional folk music.
The street festival held on the evening of November 29 at Tam Quan Gate, Trang An Street, Ninh Binh City also left a great impression on the hearts of locals and tourists. A heritage road was created by many unique works of art using traditional materials from bamboo, inspired by the architectural heritages of Hoa Lu Citadel - Thang Long Citadel and Hue Citadel.
In particular, the Heritage Carnival program within the framework of the Street Festival is a performance activity with many types of folk art in a vibrant street style. The festival also has the participation of unique folk dances from regions across the country such as: Drum and Tac Xinh dance of the Cao Lan ethnic group from the Viet Bac Folk Song and Dance Theater; Panpipe dance of the Mong people - Yen Bai; folk stilt performance from Nam Dinh...
In addition, visitors can explore nearly 30 traditional stalls of “Old Market” - where culinary heritages and traditional handicrafts from typical artisans and craft villages in the province are displayed and introduced; ancient costume stalls - where visitors have the opportunity to transform into historical figures to attend the festival...
The Closing Ceremony with the Electronic Folk Music Festival “I A Fest” was a perfect ending to the 7-day journey of the Festival. The program took place at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, with the participation of many famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh, singer Phuong My Chi, Rapper Double2T, singer Thanh Duy, singer Yen Le... attracting thousands of spectators.
The 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 with the theme "Heritage Flow" has brought a different look to the Festival format, bringing a new and attractive perspective and approach to history, promoting more deeply the value of the ancient capital. This is also the necessary direction of current Festivals - providing people with more knowledge, historical and cultural values.
The 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 also realizes the policy and orientation of Ninh Binh province to become a centrally-run city by 2035.
