Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Province Department of Tourism, said that the locality has developed a plan to organize a series of events and tourism promotion programs before, during and after Tet 2025, with the expectation of welcoming a large number of tourists to Ninh Binh.
Events to attract visitors before Tet 2025 will be held such as the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024, with the theme "Heritage Flow" held from November 24-30. This is a cultural and tourism event of great significance, contributing to building and positioning the brand of the millennium heritage city of Ninh Binh province. At the same time, it promotes the image, culture, and people of Ninh Binh province and regions across the country to domestic and international tourists.
With many activities and events such as: Festival opening program; Street Festival program; Boat parade and folk art program on the river; Exchange program, music and 3D mapping light performance; Poetry exhibition "Duc Thuy Son"; Art program "Ninh Binh - Sao Mai convergence"... Through the organization of Ninh Binh Festival 2024, it contributes to stimulating tourism demand for Ninh Binh tourism.
In addition, Ninh Binh province also organized a program to promote and advertise Ninh Binh tourism, taking place from November 21-26 in Tokyo (Japan), with the aim of strengthening tourism promotion and development, expanding the international tourist market, bringing Ninh Binh tourism to the Japanese tourist market.
At the same time, seek cooperation opportunities with Japanese partners, attract Japanese enterprises to invest in the fields of hotels and restaurants according to the investment attraction orientation of Ninh Binh province. This is also an opportunity for Ninh Binh province to survey and learn from the experience of managing and developing tourism associated with preserving and promoting the heritage values of Japan.
During the 2025 Lunar New Year, Ninh Binh province will also organize the New Year Greetings Art Program in Ninh Binh city (chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province); organize the Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival on the 6th day of the Lunar New Year until the end of the third lunar month; organize Spring Greetings Programs, Ong Do Market, Spring Market, Old Tet... in Hoa Lu ancient town.
According to Mr. Manh, in order to prepare well for the reception of tourists, especially large tourist groups, the Ninh Binh provincial tourism sector has advised the provincial People's Committee to issue a document directing departments, branches, sectors, and local authorities to ensure security and safety in tourism activities.
Organize to welcome guests attentively, friendly, hospitable. At the same time, organize inspections of tourism businesses to strictly implement tourism laws.
“Currently, investment in equipment and facilities in tourist areas and destinations in Ninh Binh province is being promoted. Training and retraining of tourism workers are being organized. Adequate workforce is being arranged at tourist areas and destinations during Tet to ensure service to tourists and traffic flow is being arranged to ensure convenience for visitors.
At the same time, we will step up the promotion and introduction of the unit's tourism products on the media as well as build promotional programs, incentives, and gifts to attract customers" - Mr. Manh shared.
