The areas with beautiful miniature decorations were posted by tourists on social networks, thereby spreading images of the leading flower capital in the Mekong Delta.


The 2nd Sa Dec Flower - Kieng Festival officially opened on the evening of December 27th, at Sa Dec Square (Sa Dec ward).
According to the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, continuing the success of the 1st Sa Dec Flower - Kieng Festival in 2023, with the theme "Land Love - Flower Love", the 2nd Festival affirms the strong transformation of Sa Dec flower village in the journey of innovation, sustainable development and reaching value.


At the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee informed that Sa Dec is no longer a modest flower village by the river, but has risen to become the largest flower and ornamental plant production center in the Mekong Delta region.
With more than 2,000 types of flowers, supplying over 15 million products per year, distributed throughout the country, Sa Dec flowers are gradually reaching out to the international market, bringing high economic value.

The 2nd Sa Dec Flower Festival 2025 is a strong commitment of the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Thap province in continuing to build a modern, green and sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival, National Assembly Vice Chairman Le Minh Hoan shared that Sa Dec is not only remembered as a "flower village", but also as a creative space from ornamental flowers, where young people find startup opportunities, where artists find inspiration, where tourists not only take photos, but stay longer to understand and feel.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly expects Dong Thap leaders to confidently embark on the journey of innovative thinking to have a heritage economic sector.
At the Opening Ceremony, the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) officially recognized and established the Vietnam Record for the project: "Map of Vietnam shaped from the largest number of flower and ornamental plant varieties in Vietnam".
