Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee has officially opened the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Fruit Festival in 2026.
The event attracted thousands of local people and tourists from all over, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere right in the dim night.
Standing and admiring the dragon-shaped work made of fruit, Mr. Tran Van Bay (Dong Thap province) shared: "I find the models here too good, very unique and meticulous. Looking at them, you can see the skillful hands of our farmers.
Joining the crowded crowd, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khue (Dong Thap province) said that he came to the festival not only to have fun but also to find opportunities to learn.
My family grows grapefruit, so when I hear about a large-scale Fruit Festival, I arrange to go immediately. I come here mainly to visit and learn experiences from export standard models of other gardens" - Mr. Khue added.
According to the Festival Organizing Committee, the series of activities of the Festival aims to honor the unremitting creativity of farmers in enhancing the value of agricultural products; strongly promote the image of Dong Thap people who are loyal, dynamic, and creative to tourists from near and far.
The 1st Dong Thap Provincial Fruit Festival continues until the end of June 8.
