Hang Mua is not a strange place for tourists to Ninh Binh. Hang Mua is especially crowded during peak times such as lotus season, holidays, Ninh Binh Tourism Week or Ninh Binh Festival, with thousands of visitors every day. However, tourists may be surprised when visiting this place in autumn and winter.
Thua Hoa, a tourist from Hanoi, visited Hang Mua in mid-November during his trip to Tam Coc - Bich Dong during the lotus flower season.
Although he traveled on a weekday, he saw an unexpected number of tourists. Because he wanted to "hunt" for the sunset on the top of Mua Mountain, he chose the time between 3:30 and 4 p.m. He did not expect this time to be so crowded with tourists, especially many foreign tourists.
He said: "I climbed nearly 500 steps quite quickly. But most tourists after climbing the stairs rest for about 1-2 hours at both peaks to enjoy the view. Maybe climbing in the morning will be less crowded."
To make up for the crowded experience at the top of Hang Mua, the young man successfully "hunted" the most beautiful lotus season in Tam Coc. Many tourists also come to this tourist area in early winter to admire the beautiful scenery of Ninh Binh.
Mua Cave, with 486 stone steps, is known as the "Vietnamese version of the Great Wall" on Ngoa Long Mountain, Ninh Binh. This tourist area is located in the core area of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.
Along both sides of the road leading to the top of Mua Mountain are works with unique architecture and beautifully carved stone statues. At the foot of the mountain, there are other landscapes such as a giant cactus garden, an artificial waterfall, a lonely royal poinciana tree, a lotus pond, a yard of incense sticks arranged in the shape of a map of the country in Khe Dau Ha village (Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district)...
Tourists coming here in winter can experience relaxation. Spring has vibrant festivals, summer has lotus blooming at the foot of Ngoa Long mountain, autumn has the golden color of ripe rice fields.
