On February 20th (3rd day of Tet), nearly 10,000 visitors are expected to visit the sea and islands in Nha Trang Bay.
According to Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf Management Department (under Nha Trang Bay Management Board), on the 30th of Tet, the 1st and 2nd days of Lunar New Year, the number of visitors ranges from 3,000 - 5,000 visitors/day.
In which, international visitors from China and South Korea maintain stability; domestic visitors continue to choose sea and island tours to experience the first holiday of the year.
Destinations attracting many tourists this time include Hon Mun, Hon Tre, Vinpearl Nha Trang, Bai Tranh tourist area and San Ho Bay.
According to forecasts, from the 4th day of Tet, the number of visitors will continue to increase, estimated at nearly 10,000 visitors/day, and then gradually decrease when the holiday ends.
Mr. Phu added that the Nha Trang Tourist Wharf Management Board has implemented strict visitor control, ensuring absolute safety for tourists when participating in island tours.
Compared to the Lunar New Year 2025, the number of visitors this year increased by about 15%.
Recorded at the wharf, the spring travel atmosphere was bustling from early morning. Many families, including those in the old Buon Ma Thuot city (now Buon Ma Thuot ward, Dak Lak) chose to go to the sea to pray for good luck at the beginning of the year.

Ms. Le Thi Giang - a tourist from Dak Lak - shared that every year her family chooses Nha Trang or Lam Dong to rest during Tet. Learning from previous years, she booked rooms early and chose to stay in the center to have a more reasonable price.
Coming to Nha Trang, you definitely have to go to the beach. Besides having fun, I also believe in swimming at the beginning of the year to have a salty year," Ms. Giang said.
Besides Nha Trang, many families in Buon Ma Thuot also choose Doc Let tourist area (Khanh Hoa) as a place to swim and eat seafood after the Tet holiday.
With favorable weather and preparation for safety and services, sea and island tours in Nha Trang continue to be the top choice of tourists during the Tet peak season.
