On July 16, the Phu Quy Special Economic Zone Tourism Association (Lam Dong province) said that images of many international tourists actively participating in picking up trash with police forces in the special economic zone have attracted the attention of local people, spreading the message of protecting the marine environment.
The program is organized by the Youth Union of the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province in coordination with the Green Environment Charity Group of Phu Quy Special Zone.
During the campaign, many foreign tourists, when seeing the activities, volunteered to join in, along with police officers, union members and people collecting garbage along the beach.
Everyone weaves through the stone embankments to pick up plastic bottles, nylon bags and many types of waste thrown ashore by sea waves.
The response of international tourists has created a beautiful image, contributing to spreading environmental awareness to the community. Many local people also participate in cleaning up the coastal area, joining hands to clean up their living places.
Images of foreign tourists happily picking up each trash bag, each bottle on the rocky beach leave many impressions on the people on the island. The activity not only contributes to cleaning up the environment but also shows the spirit of responsibility of tourists towards the destination.
Through the program, the police force and volunteer organizations wish to raise awareness of marine environmental protection, encourage people and tourists to jointly preserve green, clean, and beautiful landscapes.
The companionship of international tourists in community activities also contributes to promoting the image of Phu Quy as a friendly, civilized destination and towards tourism development associated with environmental protection.
