The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said that the unit has developed an economic growth scenario for the last 9 months of 2026, in which the tourism sector is identified as one of the important driving forces.
In April and May alone, the whole province strives for total tourism revenue estimated at about 3,000 billion VND. The total number of visitors expected is about 1.5 million.
Key activities and tasks include: participating in the 22nd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2026; organizing a program to promote culture and tourism on the occasion of participating in the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM Hanoi 2026); organizing the Dak Lak Tuna Festival 2026 with the theme "Golden Dove Essence - Aspiration to reach out to sea" in Tuy Hoa ward.
In addition, the province will organize programs to serve tourists at tourist areas and attractions on the occasion of May 1st and welcoming the summer of 2026; strengthen tourism environmental protection, protect domestic elephants, and preserve traditional crafts to develop sustainable tourism.

In the first quarter of 2026, total revenue from tourism in Dak Lak province reached 4,120 billion VND, an increase of 25% compared to the same period in 2025. The total number of visitors received reached 2.3 million, an increase of 24% compared to the same period last year. Of which, domestic visitors reached 2.259 million, an increase of 24.2%; international visitors reached 41,000, an increase of 35.76% compared to the same period in 2025.
