The Department has proactively worked with localities and businesses since the beginning of April, thoroughly grasping the spirit of absolutely not allowing arbitrary price increases or pressuring tourists.
Tourism businesses, from accommodation, food and beverage to transportation, and tourist attractions, are required to seriously list service prices and sell at the correct listed prices.
"We require establishments to publicize price lists in easy-to-see and easy-to- read places; absolutely do not hold rooms, do not take advantage of many customers to create virtual fever, force prices. If violations are detected, they will be strictly handled, even suspended" - said the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In addition to tightening price management, Quang Binh also focuses on improving service quality. The Department has implemented training courses and guidance on civilized and friendly tourism operations for the tourism industry's workforce since the beginning of the year.
