The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just changed the schedule for the drone display in the "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" festival program. Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City will hold a rehearsal of the 10,500 drone performance at 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on April 28 (previously planned for the evening of April 29) and an official performance from 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on May 1 (previously planned for the evening of April 30).
The light show using 10,500 drones will recreate historical symbols of the Vietnamese people such as: the image of tanks khucking down the gate of the Liberation Army, the flag of liberation flying, and the image of President Ho Chi Minh...

According to the organizers, the use of drone technology aims to convey the message of patriotism, aspiration for independence, freedom and the continuous development of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam in the new era.
Preparations for the event have been carried out for many months, with hundreds of hours of technical testing to ensure that each flight device operates accurately and synchronously, creating beautiful and emotional images.
This is considered the largest art - technology event ever in Ho Chi Minh City, expected to attract about 10,000 live viewers and millions of views through TV channels, livestreams and digital platforms.
The drone performance not only has artistic value but also symbolizes the strength of solidarity, creativity and affirms Vietnam's position in the international arena in the new era.
In addition, on the nights of April 29 and 30, Ho Chi Minh City will organize many special artistic activities such as 3D mapping performances, symphony performances, circuses, music and dance and activities on the Saigon River. In particular, on the evening of April 30, fireworks will be launched at 30 locations across the city, the most ever. The work of ensuring security and safety has been strictly implemented by competent authorities.
