On August 26, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province said that after Roc Tung - Go Da is recognized as a Special National Monument, the province will implement measures to protect the monument, while studying and exploiting tourism potential associated with development.
The results of excavations from 2016 to present show that domestic and foreign scientists have discovered many collections of stone tools of primitive people, dating back about 80,000 years.
Notable among them is the double-sided hand tools - a rare type of tool in Southeast Asia and East Asia. All relics are found in intact cultural context.
Currently, Roc Tung - Go Da has 10 typical old stone artifacts that have been recognized as National Treasures. This is not only the cultural value of Vietnam but also an important contribution to the history of human civilization.

The People's Committee of Gia Lai province has assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build a scientific dossier, proposing to UNESCO to recognize the system of An Khe's former resource - Go Da and Stone relics as a World Cultural Heritage.
According to researchers, the archaeological discoveries in An Khe have changed the international awareness of human origin. If the previousolutionary map mainly focused on the West or Africa, now An Khe has been recognized as an important link in the ancient Stone- periodic map of the world.
