Tourists need to pay attention to flooded spots when making daily schedules for convenient travel and minimizing risks.

On the morning of September 17, heavy rain affected travel in many areas of Hanoi.

According to the report document of Hanoi Drainage One Member Limited Liability Company at 6 am on the same day, the unit recorded a series of flooding points in the managed area.

Notably, many flooded roads are concentrated in areas with high traffic density such as Duong Dinh Nghe - Pham Hung, the area behind Keangnam building; Nguyen Hoang - Pham Hung street; Le Duc Tho street around My Dinh Stadium square and To Huu street.

Some other points were recorded on Hoa Bang street; intersection 246 My Dinh street; Tan My street; Tran Binh street; Trieu Khuc (section from alley 97 to Ao Dinh) and Vo Chi Cong (UDIC area).

The list of flooded points also includes Phan Van Truong street (section from No. 25 to 131 in front of the gate of the Chemistry Command); Luong The Vinh, Chau Van Liem, Thanh Cong, Nguyen Van Troi, Huynh Thuc Khang, Giang Van Minh routes and alley 100 Doi Can; area No. 165 Thai Ha and people's underpasses 4, 5, 6 at Km9+656.

In addition, according to updates from people, some roads are also flooded, including Dong Me street; Pham Tu street; the area opposite Viet School Primary and Secondary School (Thanh Xuan)...

For tourists visiting Hanoi, the above points should be noted when building a daily itinerary. People traveling by motorbike, car or taxi should check the road situation before going to warned areas, and proactively change routes if encountering flooded sections.

In particular, tourists who are not familiar with Hanoi's terrain should limit going into deep flooded areas or tunnels when traffic conditions are not clearly determined. Choosing a safe route will help reduce the risk of vehicles stalling, congestion or having to stop in the flooded area.
