Starting from August 27 - 29, the working delegation of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Mr. Tran Trung Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department as Head of the delegation, along with Hanoi units and businesses, participated in the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE HCMC 2026).
The activity aims to promote the image of destinations, introduce potentials, strengths, typical tourism products, typical cultural and tourism events, accommodation establishments, travel businesses, tourist areas and destinations, and high-quality tourism services of the Capital to domestic and international partners, businesses, and visitors.
With the theme "Hanoi - Heritage Destination, Connecting the Future", the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presides over the organization of the Hanoi City Booth Area with a scale of 54m2, designed in a modern direction, combining a space to introduce heritage, culture, cuisine, craft villages and typical tourism products with technology application solutions in promoting destinations.

Participating in the Hanoi City Tourism Booth Area are also 15 companion units, in which the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi Tourism Corporation, Hanoi Tourism Association, UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club and travel businesses, accommodation establishments and tourism service providers are prominent.
The units also focus on introducing tourism products with potential to exploit the international tourist market and high-quality tourists such as cultural - heritage tourism, night tourism, craft village tourism, culinary tourism, MICE tourism, green tourism, rural tourism, sports tourism and new tourism products of Hanoi.
Accordingly, some units bring many attractive tourism products such as tours to explore Hanoi's heritage, culture and cuisine; tours and experiences of Hanoi; craft village tours; night tours. At the same time, there are also programs connecting Hanoi with Ninh Binh, Ha Long, Ha Long - Yen Tu and Northern destinations, along with accommodation, resort and travel services to promote and directly introduce Hanoi's products, services and tourism programs to domestic and international partners.

Participating in the ITE HCMC 2026 Fair this time will bring Hanoi tourism businesses the opportunity to meet between businesses and businesses (B2B) and businesses and consumers (B2C). Mr. Ha Tien Nghi - Director of the Hanoi Tourism Information and Promotion Center also participated in the Workshop "Creating a Vietnamese destination brand to reach international level - Establishing a new measure of success for the tourism ecosystem" within the framework of the Workshop "Raising tourism promotion through building destination brands and strengthening international links".
Participating in the ITE HCMC 2026 Fair with tourism promotion activities connecting management agencies, destinations, businesses and international partners will help expand the market, create more opportunities for cooperation, business and motivation for development for Hanoi tourism businesses.
