The tourism connection program "Korea Travel Mart 2025" was held on May 15 in Hanoi.
The event gathered more than 20 representatives from local tourism promotion agencies, leading travel companies in Korea, and more than 100 units from Vietnam, including tourism businesses, airlines, press agencies and tourism associations.
The KTO program introduced new Korean tourism destinations and special support policies in 2025.

Sharing at the event, Ms. Park Eun Jung - Chief Representative of the Korean Tourism Bureau's Office in Vietnam commented that Korea and Vietnam are each other's important tourism markets. In 2024, the number of Korean tourists to Vietnam will reach 4.5 million.
In contrast, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Korea has also increased continuously since the COVID-19 pandemic, reaching 510,000 visitors and becoming the 6th largest tourist sending market in Korea.

Following the success of Korea Travel Mart 2025, KTO will continue to promote diverse promotional activities, notably organizing the Korea Travel Festa 2025, the biggest B2C event of the year, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on June 21-22, 2025, expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors. In addition, KTO will also continue to participate in the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE 2025) from September 4-6, 2025 with many attractive activities, aiming to deeply connect with the Vietnamese tourism market.
Korea Travel Mart 2025 is expected to be a practical bridge to help strengthen the connection between Vietnamese and Korean tourism businesses. The event not only opens up opportunities for strategic cooperation but also demonstrates KTO's commitment to supporting and accompanying the Vietnamese market - one of the most important and potential markets in Southeast Asia.
With attractive support policies, along with continuous updating of new tourism products, in line with the needs and trends of Vietnamese tourists, we expect to continue to strongly promote bilateral tourism exchanges in the coming time, said Park Eun Jung, Chief Representative of the Korea Tourism Corporation in Vietnam.
