On August 12, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Dak Lak Provincial Police said that before the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026, the unit has developed plans to organize, divert, and regulate traffic; and at the same time mobilized hundreds of turns of officers, soldiers, vehicles and professional technical equipment to participate in performing tasks.
The Traffic Police force proactively deploys forces on key roads and areas; develops plans for checkpoints, leading roads, traffic diversion and regulation at events. At the same time, functional forces coordinate with local police to ensure traffic order and safety in areas where festival activities take place.
During the festival, the traffic police force throughout the province strengthened patrols and closed-loop control of the area; focusing on strictly handling violations that are direct causes of traffic accidents.
Along with that, functional forces proactively prevent, combat, and suppress crimes, social evils and law violations on traffic routes; strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to strictly comply with regulations on traffic order and safety.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police said that in times when the number of people and vehicles increases, functional forces will strengthen regulation, traffic diversion, and traffic guidance; promptly handle arising situations, to prevent prolonged congestion.
Proactively building plans, arranging forces and strengthening patrols and inspections to contribute to ensuring security, order, and traffic safety throughout the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026.
Through this, Dak Lak province aims for a safe, civilized, and joyful festival season, creating favorable conditions for people and domestic and foreign tourists to have good experiences when coming to the locality.
