On August 29, at Ngo Mon Square, Hue City People's Committee coordinated with the Hue Festival Organizing Committee, Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center and Department of Education and Training to organize a series of cultural and educational events within the framework of the Autumn Festival - Hue Festival 2026.
Prominent is the program recreating the Truyen Lo Ceremony under the Nguyen Dynasty, with rituals such as proclamation, announcing the names of new graduates, and welcoming the list of new PhDs. Through this, the solemn atmosphere of the ancient exam ceremony is recreated, contributing to spreading the tradition of studiousness, valuing talent and the spirit of "chiêu hiền đãi sĩ".
On this occasion, singer Nguyen Viet Hoang, stage name MONO, was announced as the Messenger to promote Hue cultural heritage for the term 2026 - 2030.
With influence in the public, especially young people, MONO will accompany Hue Festival and cultural and artistic activities, promoting tourism appropriately; contributing to bringing the image of Hue heritage closer to the public through music, videos, images and media products on digital platforms.
MONO will also connect with the community of artists and young people, encourage new creations about Hue, and spread the spirit of learning, cherishing, preserving and continuing the cultural values of the Ancient Capital.
At the program, Hue City commended 385 students who were recognized as "Honorary Students of the whole school" in the 2025 - 2026 school year. These are typical students in learning, training, with will and aspiration to rise up.
Among these, 90/108 students won prizes at the national excellent student exam, including 4 first prizes; 5 students were selected for the second round of international Olympic team selection.
From recreating the Truyen Lo Ceremony - a ceremony honoring talents under the Nguyen Dynasty - to honoring typical students today and assigning the role of Messenger to promote heritage to MONO, the program contributes to connecting traditions with the younger generation, spreading Hue cultural values.
