Joining hands to help people overcome difficulties caused by storm No. 10 Bualoi, many hotels and apartments of some individuals have opened to welcome people to avoid the storm.
Ms. Chau The Lieu Trang, a hotel owner with 15 rooms in Thuan Hoa ward and three villas in Thuy Xuan, An Cuu and Long Tho wards, Hue city, quickly posted an article inviting people to take shelter.
She shared: "At this time, because Hue is in the rainy season, the number of tourists has decreased. There are many vacant rooms, so I want to share this difficulty with the people. All rooms are in high positions, with stable electricity and water".
This is the 4th year that Ms. Trang has opened the hotel to welcome people to stay for free during floods. The hotel's growth has also received warm thanks from strangers.
On the night of September 28, Ms. Trang's hotel welcomed many people on Nguyen Huu Canh Street, Binh An Ward to temporarily stay. This area is quite low-lying so it is often flooded.
"Because the hotels and villas are distributed in many areas, wherever people have difficulties, I will pick them up at the nearest locations to ensure safety. If anyone lacks food or items, if my family has anything, we will provide it," Ms. Trang expressed.
Mr. Ho Van Tuyen, owner of a luxury apartment in Thuy Xuan ward, because he was worried about the safety of the people, also asked some information channels to share his kindness, receiving support to welcome students and workers in low-lying areas to take shelter from floods for free.
He said: "I have only received this apartment for a short time, but because I am afraid that the lives of many people in Hue will be affected by storm No. 10, I also want to help them. This is the first time I have done this, so I posted the information quite late, on September 28. Hopefully my information will be spread to more people".
Mr. Tuyen's apartment could become a place of residence for people whose houses were severely damaged by the storm.
