On February 1st, Khanh Hoa welcomed two consecutive international cruise ships Sirena and Costa Serena, bringing more than 3,400 international tourists to visit tourist and cultural attractions in the province.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, the international cruise ship Sirena (Bahamas nationality) docked at Cam Ranh International Port, bringing about 600 tourists to visit Khanh Hoa.
Immediately after docking, tourists are organized tours by Tan Hong Trading and Service Co., Ltd. to visit the special national relic Thap Ba Po Nagar, Nha Trang station, experience local life at Dam Market, visit rural areas... In the afternoon of the same day, the Sirena ship left Cam Ranh to continue its journey to Quang Ninh.
On the same day, the tourist ship Costa Serena (Italian nationality) anchored in Nha Trang Bay. More than 2,800 tourists, mainly from Europe and Hong Kong (China), moved to Ana Marina International Marina to explore Nha Trang tourism.
Tourists ashore can freely move to the northern area of Nha Trang and participate in tours to Long Son Pagoda, Ba Po Nagar Tower, Stone Church, I-Resort, Dam Market, Tram Huong Square - Tower area and Nha Trang Beach Park. It is expected that the Costa Serena ship will leave Nha Trang on the same evening to continue its journey to Phu My port (Ho Chi Minh City).
Statistics from the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism show that from the beginning of 2026 to now, the locality has welcomed 9 international cruise ships, with more than 17,800 tourists ashore for sightseeing. According to registration schedules from shipping lines, in 2026, Khanh Hoa is expected to welcome 31 more cruise ships.
The continuous reception of large international cruise ships is considered a positive sign, contributing to promoting the recovery and development of cruise tourism, diversifying the international tourist market, and contributing to the overall growth of Khanh Hoa's tourism industry.
