Leaders of the Department of Finance said that this adjustment of the Provincial Plan aims to update and adjust contents that are no longer suitable for the actual situation, and at the same time concretize development orientations in the context of reorganizing the local government model and socio-economic development requirements in the new period.
Currently, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province is also preparing the General Urban Plan of Khanh Hoa to 2050, with a vision to 2070. Regarding urban and rural planning, the whole province currently has 85 plans. Of which, 57 plans have been completed; 12 plans have been approved by the appraisal council; 2 plans are completing dossiers to submit for appraisal; and 14 plans are in the process of collecting opinions from relevant sectors and units.
Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam emphasized that the province is making many important plans with a large workload in a hurry. Therefore, departments, branches, and localities need to closely coordinate with consulting units to accelerate progress.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that provincial plans must ensure synchronization, unity, and conformity with higher-level plans and national plans. In the process of adjusting provincial plans, it is necessary to clarify new and different points in urban development today compared to the previous district-level model.
