On the afternoon of May 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province said that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the total number of visitors and stayers in the province is estimated at about 620,000, an increase of about 21% compared to 2025.

In which, international visitors to visit and relax are estimated at about 21,000, bringing in revenue from tourism activities of about 1,420 billion VND.
Specifically, the number of overnight visitors is concentrated in the days from April 30 to May 2. The average room occupancy rate at tourist accommodation establishments is about 70 - 80%; especially establishments from 3 to 5 stars reach 85 - 96%, and some days reach 100%.

To serve the sightseeing and experiential needs of tourists, the provincial tourism industry has coordinated with relevant units to organize many diverse cultural, artistic and entertainment activities, creating highlights to attract tourists.

Notably, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Opening Ceremony of the program "Welcoming the Summer Tourism Season 2026", and at the same time announced the General Plan for the construction of Mui Ne National Tourist Area to 2040, vision to 2050 with the theme "Coming to Lam Dong - hunting for thousands of clouds, surfing silver waves".

In addition, the work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety is strengthened. Tourism business establishments proactively upgrade facilities, diversify products, improve service quality; publicly list prices, ensure environmental sanitation and food safety.

Many businesses are implementing stimulus programs such as discounts, vouchers, service upgrades, contributing to attracting tourists during the holidays.
Previously, during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday (April 25 - 27), Lam Dong welcomed about 350,000 visitors, including about 14,000 international visitors, with estimated revenue of nearly 770 billion VND.
In 2026, Lam Dong province aims to be in the group of 5 localities attracting the largest number of tourists in the country, with a total number of visitors reaching 25.8 million, of which international visitors are about 1.58 million; estimated revenue is about 71,500 billion VND.
