On the afternoon of June 3, the Lam Dong Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center organized a program to connect and cooperate in investment, trade and tourism promotion between Lam Dong province and Khanh Hoa province in 2026.
The program creates conditions for delegates and businesses in Khanh Hoa to survey typical tourism products, production processes of agricultural products and specialties of Lam Dong; thereby connecting cooperation in trade, tourism and investment development.
Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa are two localities with great potential to complement each other.
While Khanh Hoa is a marine economic center with a developed tourism infrastructure system, Lam Dong has advantages in climate, ecotourism, resorts and high-tech agriculture.
According to Mr. Nguyen Linh Vu - Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, regional linkage is an inevitable requirement in the current context.
Strengthening cooperation between the two localities is not only of short-term significance but also contributes to building an effective linked economic space, effectively exploiting the advantages of each side and creating new growth momentum.
Mr. Luyen Manh Cuong - Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the two localities are connected by many important traffic routes such as National Highway 1, North-South Expressway, National Highway 27, North-South railway and seaport and aviation systems.
The advantages in transport infrastructure, natural conditions and unique tourism products are expected to create a foundation for the two localities to promote investment attraction, trade in goods and develop linked tourism products.
At the program, the two sides exchanged information on investment, trade and tourism opportunities; and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centers of the two provinces.
On this occasion, businesses in Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa also signed 8 memorandums of understanding on cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism and market connection.
