In recent days, social networks have appeared an article by a tourist reflecting the situation of fraud when buying seafood in the Mui Ne Village area, Mui Ne ward (Lam Dong province).
On June 23, the Standing Committee of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee held a meeting with relevant departments and units to implement solutions to rectify business activities in the Lang Chai area.
The locality agreed to establish a rapid response team headed by Mui Ne Ward Police, with the participation of specialized departments, General Service Center, grassroots security forces, neighborhoods and mass organizations.
The rapid response team has the task of receiving, inspecting and promptly handling feedback from people and tourists.
Along with that, the locality will publicize hotlines, supplement balance and verification, install regulations and strengthen actual inspection. Acts such as weighing insufficiently, swapping goods, soliciting customers, littering in the wrong places and other violations will be strictly handled.
Mui Ne Ward People's Committee also recommends that tourists when detecting signs of fraud in seafood trading can directly report to the Rapid Response Team or through the hotline for verification and timely handling.
Strictly handling the situation of fraudulent seafood sales not only contributes to protecting the rights of tourists but also creates a fair business environment for honest businesses.
In parallel, Mui Ne ward is developing a plan to renovate the Lang Chai area, improve the landscape and improve service quality, aiming to build a more civilized, friendly and attractive destination image for tourists.
