On February 19, informing about the Ha Temple, Thuong Temple, and La Temple Festival in 2025, Ms. Vu Quynh Loan - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang City People's Committee said that this year's festival aims to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values of the Mother worship movement, contributing to promoting the image of local tourism.
This year's festival has the theme " Honoring the Mother Goddess's worship and the cultural identity of Tuyen Quang".
Accordingly, the ceremony will fully recreate the typical Mother Rite rituals and solemn offerings to help the public feel the intersection between spirituality and art.
The festival will bring vibrant and meaningful cultural experiences such as field shows, Tra Xu Tuyen space, space to display turban and ao dai, introducing the culture of worshiping the Mother through interactive screens.
"The 2025 Southern Temple, Southern Temple, Southern Temple Festival will have many notable new points, both preserving traditional rituals and being organized more systematically and professionally to suit the needs of domestic and international tourists.
At the same time, focus on developing sustainable spiritual tourism, creating conditions for tourists to not only travel to worship but also experience more deeply the cultural identity of Tuyen Quang province", Ms. Loan informed.
Among the activities to promote the Ha Temple, Thuong Temple, and La Temple Festival in 2025, there is a seminar "Promoting the traditional values of Mother Nature and Zhu Zhu Lam in the religious life of the people of Tuyen Quang" gathering many prestigious historical and cultural experts.
Previously, in mid-January 2025, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang City organized a meeting and connected domestic travel companies to introduce the Ha Temple, Thuong Temple, and La Temple Festival with the participation of more than 40 travel agencies and companies nationwide.
Mother worship is the oldest indigenous belief of Bach Viet residents. Most temples in Tuyen Quang worship the Mother, especially in Tuyen Quang city and surrounding areas, there are 14 temples worshiping the Mother (Three temples of the Holy Mother: Mother Thuong Thien, Mother Thuong Ngan and Mother Thoai).
Among them, the Ha Temple, the Thuong Temple and the O La Temple are the three oldest temples recognized as national monuments. The three temples associated with the Mother Ride Festival have existed for a long time. The Holy Mother worshiped in three main temples is "sacred", the core of the festival.
The ceremony is solemn, with all the elderly, young, girls, men and visitors from all over attending. Currently, these temples still preserve a total of more than 10 royal decrees from the Le Dynasty to the Nguyen Dynasty to promote the merits of the two Holy Mothers.
