On the evening of April 28, Hanoi organized the political art program "Echoes of the Fatherland" at My Dinh National Stadium, combined with fireworks display. To ensure security, order and traffic safety, Hanoi City Police announced a plan to temporarily ban and restrict vehicles on many roads in My Dinh area.
Accordingly, from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM on April 28th, functional forces will organize temporary road bans and restrict vehicles from circulating on roads around the program area.
Temporarily roads are closed to trucks from 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars from 16 seats or more (except for buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident handling vehicles, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles of the Police and Army forces). Other vehicles are restricted at different times to serve traffic diversion.

Roads prohibited and restricted from vehicles include: Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho, Tan My, Me Tri, Tran Huu Duc, Ham Nghi, Nguyen Co Thach, Do Xuan Hop, Nguyen Hoang, Pham Hung, Chau Van Liem, right-side road of Thang Long Avenue (section from Pham Hung to Le Quang Dao), Ho Tung Mau, Cau Dien, Trinh Van Bo.
To reduce traffic pressure, Hanoi City Police organized remote traffic diversion. Vehicles from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Avenue can move through Provincial Road 70 or elevated Ring Road 3 and vice versa.
Hanoi City Police requested people to proactively choose suitable routes, limit moving through My Dinh area during the above time frame, and at the same time comply with the instructions of functional forces to avoid congestion.
In the context that the number of people flocking to the central area to watch art programs and fireworks is expected to increase, knowing the road ban schedule will help people and tourists proactively plan their travel and ensure safety.
