The traditional area of the Coal industry at the Production Management Center in Quang Ninh (belonging to the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group), No. 95A, Le Thanh Tong Street, Hong Gai Ward, Quang Ninh Province, is a historical relic of the headquarters of the Bac Ky Coal Mining Company.
In the outdoor exhibition space are giant coal mining equipment. Notable are the EKG wire cutting machines - weighing nearly 400 tons, 510 m3 cutting machines, capable of scooping up coal blocks weighing tens of tons; bridge rotation drilling machines, MG300/730 alloy stage machines - the "steel arm" of the modern underground mine; Zyn locomotives, carriages, "G bear" vehicles and the BelAZ convoy transporting hundreds of tons of coal per trip.

These equipment have been used for production at the mines of TKV Mining Geology Joint Stock Company, Deo Nai Coal, Cua Ong Coal Selection, Nam Mau Coal, partly reflecting the history of coal mining technology development in the coal industry.
Implementing the policy of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) on building a Traditional Area of the Coal industry, TKV has launched a movement to donate and collect documents and artifacts of historical value such as equipment, vehicles, machinery, cars... to display at the Traditional Area, combined with the project to preserve and restore the Historical Site of the headquarters of the Phap Bac Ky Coal mine Company (SFCT).

In this premises, Hon Gai Coal Company was assigned to design and build a tunnel road simulation area for underground coal mining technology. The highlight is the scale scale of the exploitation furnace model, including a number of equipment such as fire room phones, ventilation systems, wheels and two branches of the underground furnace - furnace and the exploitation furnace.
The exhibition space also introduces the operation method and technical advances in underground coal mining through the ages.
Mr. Vu Duc Dung, residing in Ha Tu ward, Quang Ninh province (a retired coal excavator worker), shared: "When I came here, I remember my old days when I was working, remembering my old job. I am very proud of my work, proud to be a part of the Coal industry. This is also a place to promote and educate students to have a deeper understanding of the mining profession and the working spirit of miners".

On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Mining Workers' Traditional Day - Coal Industry Traditional Day (November 12, 193 12-November 2025), many other coal mining equipment and means were also displayed at the Space to introduce achievements and technology for coal industry development at the Planning Palace, Provincial Fair and Exhibition, October 30 Square.
