Da Nang, Quang Ngai, and Gia Lai localities recorded a prosperous tourism picture during the holidays with a sharp increase in visitors and revenue.

In which, Da Nang continues to play the leading role when welcoming more than 1.46 million visitors, with revenue reaching more than 5.727 billion VND. The proportion of international visitors accounts for a large proportion, showing the attractiveness of the destination on the regional tourism map.

Room occupancy in Da Nang city is maintained at a high level, especially the 4-5 star hotel segment is almost fully booked. Tourism activities are vibrant thanks to a series of large-scale events, from art programs, sea festivals to sports and entertainment activities. Beaches become the focus with many new experiences, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

In addition, festivals imbued with local identity are organized simultaneously, contributing to diversifying tourism products. Large entertainment and resort areas continuously organize performances, enhancing the experience for tourists, especially family groups.

Gia Lai region also recorded impressive growth with about 625,000 visitors, revenue exceeding 1,000 billion VND. Highlights are community cultural activities, gong space, cuisine and traditional crafts. The combination of indigenous culture and experiential tourism creates a unique attraction.

Quang Ngai is clearly accelerating with about 720,000 visitors, estimated revenue reaching 532 billion VND. Sea and island destinations and mountainous areas all recorded strong visitor growth. Room occupancy in many areas reached high levels, reflecting increased resort demand. Festival activities, cuisine and community experiences are emphasized, contributing to extending stay time.

The steady growth in many localities shows the trend of tourists seeking diverse experiences, combining resorts and cultural exploration. This is an important foundation for tourism in the Central region to maintain its development momentum in the following stages.

In Gia Lai, tourist routes continue to attract tourists such as the Provincial Museum - Doi Tower - Quy Nhon night market route; Dam Thi Nai - Thay Boi Tower - Hai Minh fishing village route; Ky Co, Nhon Ly, Nhon Hai, De Gi sea and island tours; science discovery tours; cultural and historical tours at Quang Trung Museum, Cham towers, Pleiku Museum, Lang Song Church...

The western region of Gia Lai attracts tourists to Dai Doan Ket Square, Bien Ho, Ialy Hydropower Plant, Kep village, Kon Ka Kinh National Park and coffee experience tours.

The number of visitors to events and sightseeing at tourist areas and spots is estimated at 460,000, an increase of 78% compared to the same period in 2025, concentrated in sea and island destinations, urban tourism, culture and community ecology.

Notably, this year's tourist season has the appearance of a new product in the Quy Nhon sea area - a high-class yacht tour, invested by Son Tung Transportation Business Co., Ltd. This is also the first year that businesses have participated in the sea tourism sector with a closed service ecosystem including yachts, speedboats and sea entertainment activities.

Mr. Tran Son Tung - Director of Son Tung Transport Business Co., Ltd. - said that the highlight of the tour lies in modern vehicle infrastructure, private journeys and different experiences.

Instead of traveling by canoe with many people, businesses invest in large-scale, convenient yachts, bringing a quiet, private space and high-class sea experiences. Services are also personalized according to the needs of each group of guests.

According to Mr. Tung, the product is aimed at many customer segments such as international customers, especially from Europe and the US; couple customers, souvenir customers; groups of tourists with quite high to high incomes who want to find a different experience; business customers organizing team building, entertaining guests or small-scale events...

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) of Da Nang City said that the unit has closely coordinated with relevant departments and branches to strictly implement the direction of the City People's Committee on improving service quality.

Inter-sectoral inspection teams have regularly been on duty, inspecting price listing, and preventing the situation of touting or "overcharging" tourists. Rescue and relief work at public beaches has also been maximized, ensuring absolute safety for people and tourists when participating in water activities.
