Thousands of tourists flocked to Suoi Tien Cultural Tourist Area, Ho Chi Minh City on May 31st, to immerse themselves in the colorful space of the 22nd Southern Fruit Festival.
This year, the organizers have coordinated with hundreds of gardeners from all provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta, Southeast and Central coastal regions. Through this, the event brings tons of fresh, ripe fruits to serve consumers at reasonable prices.

The festival space with the theme "Sounds of the Alluvial River" is designed lively, interspersed with images of boats, gardens and art performances combining folk music, vọng cổ and hip hop.
Many people living in wards in the city expressed great interest when visiting the stalls. Reasonable prices and the variety of garden fruits have scored points in the eyes of consumers.

One of the most notable events at this year's festival is the establishment of the Vietnam Record for the Southern Garden Fire Cattle dish.
This dish uses a combination of 27 typical fruits of the South, officially setting a record for the largest number of fruits in a dish in Vietnam to date.
Representatives of the organizing committee said that the process of researching and testing the dish was carried out extremely elaborately, to ensure that the sweet, sour, fatty, and fragrant flavors harmoniously blend together.
The fruits are applied to many processing stages from marinade, sauce to mixing ingredients and side dishes, creating unexpected emotional levels for diners.
Not only stopping at entertainment activities, the event also brings a strong message about environmental protection. The tourist area has put into operation high-tech agricultural experience areas, helping visitors and children directly learn about the process of growing clean fruit trees that meet VietGAP standards.

The festival is expected to last until the end of August 30, promising to continue to be an attractive summer playground, and also an effective economic bridge to help farmers promote local agricultural products and promote the trend of green tourism and circular tourism that Ho Chi Minh City is aiming for.
