Diversifying investment resources

Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism said that Ninh Binh province has created an investment environment, encouraged and attracted investors with non-budgetary capital to the tourism sector. Currently, the whole province has issued Investment Certificates for nearly 100 projects, with a capital of more than 20 trillion VND.

To date, Ninh Binh province has had more than 900 tourist accommodation establishments with over 12,000 rooms, including 21 quality establishments from 4-5 stars and equivalent, an increase of 32% compared to 2019, initially meeting the accommodation and resort needs of tourists.
"For the tourism industry, infrastructure is a necessary condition to lay the foundation for exploiting a tourist destination. Locating yourself as a tourist, everyone wants to go to a tourist destination easily and conveniently, while staying and enjoying services according to their needs. With infrastructure such as road construction, a huge amount of capital is needed. Therefore, the State needs to invest initially to attract businesses and people to invest in completing tourism destinations" - Mr. Manh shared.
Promoting tourism development strategy from breadth to depth
In recent years, Ninh Binh tourism has had strong development steps. This is reflected in the increasing number of visitors to Ninh Binh, an average of 5.8 million visitors per year, an increase of 28.2%/year.
Revenue from tourism activities has grown strongly. In the period of 2020 - 2025, total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at VND 29,598 billion, an average of VND 5,919.6 billion per year, an average growth of 44.6%/year. In 2025, Ninh Binh province strives to reach over 9.1 million visitors, 3.5 times more than in 2020, revenue from tourism activities is estimated to reach VND 10,000 billion, 6.3 times more than in 2020 and exceed the target set by the Resolution of the 22nd Ninh Binh Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
Ninh Binh has become a bright spot on the Vietnam tourism map, in the top 15 destinations, 10 provinces with the highest number of visitors in the country.
The goal for the period 2026 - 2030 is that Ninh Binh strives to become one of the leading tourism centers in Vietnam and the region. Tourism has gradually become a spearhead economic sector, creating momentum for the development of related sectors.
