According to Lao Dong, currently, 100% of resorts, homestays, and hotels with 4 stars or more in Ninh Binh have run out of rooms for rent for guests during the upcoming April 30 and May 15 holidays.
At Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area (Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh), the rooms here were booked by guests half a month ago. Currently, this tourist area no longer has its own rooms but only a few collective rooms (in the form of stilt houses).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong - Head of Marketing Department of the Tourist Area said that currently all rooms of the tourist area are fully booked, with room prices ranging from 1.6 million VND - 2.8 million VND/night depending on the quality of each room class.
"Currently, all rooms of the tourist area have been booked for guests to stay from April 30 to February 2" - Ms. Thuong said.
Similarly, at Minawa Kenhga Resort & Spa Ninh Binh (Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh), rooms were booked by guests from April 29 to May 2.
This is considered one of the international-class resorts with 5-star standard services, with more than 100 luxury rooms and villas, the rental price of rooms during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 here ranges from 2.2 million VND to 3.8 million VND/night.
At other resorts such as Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh, Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel & Resort... and hotels with 4 stars or more in Ninh Binh, rooms are also fully booked from April 30 to May 2.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Director of Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Information Center (under the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism) said that through inspection, it was shown that all resorts and luxury hotels in Ninh Binh are renting rooms for the upcoming April 30 holiday at the listed prices, without any price increases.
room prices at resorts during this time range from 1.2 - 4.4 million VND/night. Some resorts sell combos including room rates and 2 meals for 4 - 5 million VND.
"The reason why many resorts and luxury hotels in Ninh Binh run out of rooms early is mainly due to travel businesses distributing room funds planning to sell rooms early. In addition, the number of visitors proactively searching for accommodation on e-commerce platforms is increasingly popular. In addition, with long holidays like April 30 and May 1 this year, families often choose to go to resorts with beautiful views to rest and relax" - Mr. Minh shared.
According to Mr. Minh, to avoid risks, tourists need to be cautious when deciding to book a room. Book services through reputable travel agencies and avoid paying directly through employee accounts to minimize the risk of fraud and virtual room bookings.
At the same time, look for accommodation facilities that suit the needs of families, paying special attention to amenities for both adults and children as well as convenient means of transportation.
