Accordingly, the first Red Brick and Ceramic Festival - Green Economy of Vinh Long province in 2024 will be held from November 10 to 16, 2024 (7 days), on Vo Van Kiet Street, Ward 9 and the Brick and Ceramic Craft Village at Thay Cai Canal, Mang Thit District. The opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 10.
The event is on a regional scale in the Mekong Delta, expanding to invite Ho Chi Minh City and several provinces and cities in the Central and Northern regions to participate.
Within the framework of the Festival, there are many exciting and attractive activities, especially the Fair and Exhibition Area of Industry, Trade, Agriculture, Tourism with a scale of 700 - 800 booths; Experience space to learn about the brick and pottery production village, the typical culture of "Land and people of Vinh Long"; activities reenacted on the wharf and on the boat; Organizing performances and setting a Vietnamese record of 102 dishes made from tofu and served with tofu for the first time in Vietnam...
According to the Organizing Committee, this is the first time Vinh Long province has organized a Festival focusing on two main contents: Red Bricks and Ceramics - Green Economy.
The Festival creates conditions for Vinh Long province to promote and advertise the potentials and advantages of exploiting tourism of Mang Thit brick and pottery village; at the same time, it creates conditions for localities and provinces and cities participating in the Festival to exhibit, introduce and promote achievements, potentials and strengths in various fields, thereby contributing to attracting investment, strengthening regional linkages, seeking opportunities to spread to domestic and foreign markets...
