On April 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism organized a conference to propagate and disseminate tourism laws to accommodation establishments in the East of the city, taking place in Vung Tau ward.
The program attracted about 150 delegates from operating accommodation establishments to participate. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the city's tourism industry has made many positive developments in the past time, in which the accommodation system plays a key role, contributing to improving service quality, destination image and competitiveness. However, the management of accommodation establishments still has some shortcomings such as: incomplete compliance with legal regulations in some establishments; there is still a situation of operating without registration, not in the right type...
In the context of the tourism industry recovering strongly and towards sustainable development, the conference propagated and disseminated legal regulations on tourism, especially in the field of accommodation such as security and order, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection...; guiding accommodation service business establishments to implement regulations correctly. At the same time, together with representatives of establishments, exchange and remove difficulties and obstacles in the operation process.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will continue to organize conferences to propagate and disseminate tourism industry laws to accommodation establishments in Saigon and Binh Duong wards in April 2026. Thereby, contributing to strengthening violation prevention, reducing illegal acts; building a safe, healthy, and fair tourism environment; raising awareness of law compliance of organizations and individuals doing business in tourism accommodation services. At the same time, the program also aims to improve service quality, prestige and brand of accommodation establishments, thereby promoting sustainable development and improving the competitiveness of Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry.
