On the evening of February 26, Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee (An Giang) held a launching ceremony for the Phu Quoc Special Zone Tourism Rapid Response Team and signed a Code of Conduct.
According to the establishment decision, the Tourism Rapid Response Team is headed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan - Vice Chairwoman of the Special Zone People's Committee; deputy team leaders include the Chief of the Special Zone Police; Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs; members include a cyberspace support team, 3 rapid response teams at the scene in the North Island, Central and South Island areas.
The tourism rapid response team receives and classifies information reflected by tourists 24/7. Is present in time at the scene to support and connect to resolve cases related to prices, service quality, security and safety for tourists (ensuring at least 2 people on duty are present when receiving information). Guiding procedures according to the provisions of law, advising on necessary information for tourists; supporting the search for lost items.
Initial first aid for accidents and medical conditions, quickly support, transfer to appropriate treatment facilities. Have forms of recording (in writing or in images) to receive feedback from tourists, explanation documents from related individuals and organizations. Organize patrols by private vehicles during peak hours in tourist-intensive areas.

Immediately request a temporary suspension of violations at the scene (cheating, assaulting passengers, ...) while waiting for functional agencies to come to handle; can exchange, coordinate, and notify forces at local working groups, neighborhoods and security forces of participating businesses when incidents occur to support the protection of the scene.
Mr. Tran Minh Khoa - Chairman of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone People's Committee said that the establishment of the tourism rapid response team aims to immediately rectify violations of business ethics, regain the trust of domestic and international tourists; affirming that Phu Quoc is a safe and civilized destination.
Establishing discipline in tourism business activities through drastic technology and administrative solutions; towards completely eliminating non-transparent information about prices and rooms for tourists. Eliminating the scourge of "overcharging" prices, soliciting tourists, and non-transparent accommodation information. Building a sustainable tourism ecosystem, harmonizing the interests of businesses, local people and tourists with the motto "Transparent - Kind - Taking tourists as the center".

At the ceremony, businesses representing each type of tourism activity signed commitments to strictly implement the Phu Quoc tourism code of conduct. The code of conduct includes the following types: Code of conduct for officials, civil servants and public employees related to tourism in the Phu Quoc special zone; code of conduct for accommodation establishments; code of conduct for sightseeing spots, craft villages and entertainment areas; code of conduct for travel agencies; code of conduct for tour guides; code of conduct for shopping establishments, specialty stores and souvenir shops; code of conduct for individuals and transportation businesses; code of conduct for restaurants, eateries and food service establishments; code of conduct for residential communities.
The launch program of the Rapid Response Team and the signing of the Code of Conduct mark an important milestone for the tourism industry in general and Phu Quoc tourism in particular. It is not only about determination but also human actions and specific mechanisms.
