According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on February 18 (the 2nd day of Tet), the total number of tourists to Quang Ninh was estimated at 163,000, equal to 107% compared to the same period last year. Of which, international visitors reached about 47,000 (equal to 109% of the same period); overnight visitors reached 42,000 (equal to 111% of the same period).
Total revenue from tourism in the day is estimated at 456 billion VND, equal to 109% of the same period.
Many destinations continue to record large number of visitors such as: Ha Long Bay welcoming 7,500 visitors; Sun World Park 2,000 visitors; Cua Ong Temple 5,848 visitors; Cai Bau Pagoda 24,000 visitors; Yen Tu 8,000 visitors; Ba Vang Pagoda 22,500 visitors; Bach Dang Relic Site 20,000 visitors; Tran House Relic Site 16,500 visitors.
Accumulated for 5 days of Tet holiday (from February 14 to 18), Quang Ninh welcomed about 380,000 visitors, an increase of 9% compared to the same period; total tourism revenue is estimated at 1,077 billion VND, an increase of 12%.
Tourism activities during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026 in the province are vibrant and safe; destinations ensure good reception and service for tourists.
Regarding international cruise tourists, on February 19 (the 3rd day of Tet), the Le Jacques Cartier ship brought about 300 European tourists to Ha Long International Passenger Port. It is expected that on February 20 (the 4th day of Tet), the Adora Mediterranea ship will continue to make an stop in Quang Ninh, carrying about 2,000 European tourists.
