Hai Phong changes ferry schedule and fares to Cat Ba from January 1

Hai Phong - Hai Phong Waterway Traffic Assurance Joint Stock Company has just announced the ferry schedule for Dong Bai - Cai Vieng ferry terminal from January 1, 2025.

Accordingly, from January 1, 2025, the operating hours at Dong Bai ferry terminal are from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (first trip departs at 5:30 a.m., last trip ends at 6:00 p.m.).

Ferries run from Cai Vieng wharf from 5am to 5:30pm (first trip departs at 5am, last trip ends at 5:30pm).

On busy days, the ferry terminal proactively arranges to increase the number of trips in the ferry schedule to serve passengers.

The ferry schedule has changed compared to the current time. Currently, the ferry operates from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily from Dong Bai wharf, and from Cai Vieng wharf from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Hai Phong Waterway Traffic Assurance Joint Stock Company also announced the price of ferry services at Dong Bai - Cai Vieng ferry terminal. Accordingly, the price of ferry tickets has reduced value added tax from 10% to 8%. The price for pedestrian passengers is 11,782 VND, passengers on bicycles and all kinds of bicycles is 9,818 VND, and passengers on motorbikes is 37,309 VND. The price for cars with less than 9 seats is 159,055 VND, passenger cars with 9-24 seats is 175,745 VND, from 24-31 seats is 200,291 VND, passenger cars with 32 seats or more is 274,909 VND... Residents of Cat Hai district are exempted from 50% of the ticket price for pedestrian passengers, bicycles, motorbikes and cars with less than 9 seats.
