Starting the sea tourism season
Right before the April 30 - May 1 holiday, a series of localities launched a series of events to open the vibrant coastal tourism season. From Van Don beach (Quang Ninh), to Hai Tien, Nghi Son, Sam Son (Thanh Hoa), Cua Lo (Nghe An)... all are bustling with art performances, promotional programs, advertising, stimulus...
In Thanh Hoa alone, this year's sea tourism season kicks off with the Hai Tien Sea Tourism Festival taking place on September 19.4; followed by the Hai Hoa Sea Festival on September 24.4; The highlight is the opening program of the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival on the evening of April 26 at Sea Square, Trung Son Ward, Sam Son City.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, the tourism industry of the province expects to welcome about 1 million visitors during the 5-day holiday on April 30 - May 1, creating a favorable start, contributing to promoting a vibrant summer tourism season ahead.
Preparing for the peak tourist season, Quang Nam has announced many incentive programs to attract visitors with a total value of about 10 billion VND. The promotion program takes place from April to November 2025, including two stages: Stage 1 "Quang Nam - Summer Emotions" from April to August 2025 and stage 2 "Quang Golden Season" from September to November 2025. Accordingly, many attractive product packages are introduced such as airfare combos with resort, sightseeing, entertainment services...
Tourists coming to Quang Nam this summer can experience many tourism products with preferential prices up to 50% such as: Tour to experience the Bay Mau Coconut Forest discovery journey and experience local cuisine; Tour to explore and experience the largest riverside pottery village and island park in Vietnam; Tickets to watch Hoi An Memories Show; Parading over the Heritage Area by veu; 3-way resort program with 2 payments; 2-night resort, 50% discount on the second night...
Khanh Hoa also introduced new, unique tourism products that have been put into operation, focusing on high-class resort experiences, sea and island exploration and cultural - culinary tourism.
Meeting tourism needs
Ms. Tran Thi Bao Thu - Marketing - Communications Director of Vietluxtour Travel shared: "Tourists tend to register for peak season tours quite early, about one to two months before the departure date to get good prices and choose the most suitable tour for personal needs. In particular, the use of technology devices such as smartphones, tablets... by tourists to book services and pay on websites, fanpages, apps or other online commercial websites is becoming increasingly popular.
Travel agencies are also preparing new products to attract tourists this summer. Flamingo Redtours has launched the summer tour series "Connecting tea - Going on a fun Fest tour", aimed at families with young children, with the highlight being the journey to explore the three leading theme parks in Asia: Legoland, Universal and Disneyland.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoan - General Director of Flamingo Redtours - said that one of the outstanding advantages of the new tour line is the ability to comprehensively overcome common limitations in current tours. The package tour includes tickets to entertainment areas, the schedule is reasonable, not too crowded with destinations, making tourists tired, avoiding the situation of "riding on horse to see flowers".
The Government requires promoting, advertising tourism, stimulating and attracting tourists in the summer of 2025
The Government issued Resolution No. 77/NQ-CP dated April 10, 2025 on the regular Government meeting in March 2025 and the Government's Online Conference with localities. Accordingly, the Government requires ministries, branches and localities to focus on implementing 9 main tasks. Specifically, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and localities need to promote and advertise tourism, stimulate and attract summer tourists in 2025, coordinate with the Ministry of Construction to manage airfares, promote domestic tourism, especially during the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
The Government also requires continuing to promote information and propaganda work, especially policy propaganda, creating motivation, trust and social consensus, contributing to promoting development.
