According to the latest rain forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at around 11:30 a.m. on October 7, Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, and Tuyen Quang cities are experiencing moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain.

In the next 3 to 6 hours, Hanoi, Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang cities and neighboring areas will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, with total accumulated rainfall ranging from 30-80mm, in some places over 150mm.

According to Accuweather, on October 7, Hanoi will have scattered rain lasting from noon to afternoon.

After the rain from early morning, the rain will continue to increase gradually from around 12 noon, with a probability of rain of up to 76%, with some cases of heavy rain lasting at least 60 minutes.

From 12pm to 2pm, the rain will continue with a probability of 57-61%, cloudy sky, reduced visibility.

From 3pm to 4pm, the rain will temporarily stop, mainly cloudy, the probability of rain will decrease to about 49%. Then, at around 5pm, there may be short rains again with a probability of about 53%, no heavy rainfall.

In the evening, from 6pm onwards, the rain will decrease significantly, with only thick clouds and high humidity, with a probability of rain ranging from 34-47%, no more prolonged rain.

According to the Hanoi Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board, as of 10:00 a.m. on October 7, the whole city of Hanoi had a total of 122 flooded locations, of which 93 were still flooded and 29 were deeply flooded and unable to circulate.
