According to the weather forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the afternoon of October 6, storm No. 11 weakened into a low pressure area.

The low pressure will move mainly in the West Northwest direction, weakening and gradually dissipating.

However, the situation of heavy rain in the North and Thanh Hoa is still complicated.

From the night of October 6 to the end of the night of October 7, the mountainous and midland areas of the North will have heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 50-120mm, locally very heavy rain over 250mm.

The Northern Delta and Thanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 40-70mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.

In addition, on the night of October 6, Nghe An - Ha Tinh area will have showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 70mm.

Warning of the risk of heavy rain (>150mm/3 hours).

People and tourists should be on guard against the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods on rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in the provinces: Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong City, Thanh Hoa.
