Looking back at the journey you have had - after becoming a Tourism and Environment Ambassador at Miss Vietnam 2024, what are your feelings?
- Looking back at the journey of more than a year since I received the title of Tourism and Environment Ambassador of Miss Vietnam 2024, I realize that I have had many changes, becoming more mature every day.
Especially, thanks to this title, I have the opportunity to set foot in more lands, travel more, meet and interact with many people from all over the country. That is also what makes me always rest and be moved every time I think about the journey that has passed.
The more I go, the more I see our country as too beautiful.
In the past year, you have had the opportunity to visit many different localities. What is the land that impressed you the most and how do you view tourism promotion through experiential journeys?
- I feel very lucky that in the past year I have had the opportunity to set foot in more new lands than before.
I think that the journey to spread Vietnamese beauty will not only stop at influential people, but it is also the journey of many young people.
Especially now, as experiential tourism is increasingly loved, each personal experience, when widely spread, will also become a factor contributing to promoting Vietnamese tourism to develop further.
In each trip, do you usually prioritize exploring local culture, cuisine or resorts?
- Actually, I think this can be called "tourism taste", but I myself don't have a fixed taste at all. For the lands I set foot in for the first time, I will prioritize experiencing culture, learning history and exploring local cuisine.
As for places I have had the opportunity to return to many times, I often choose to relax more, because then I have the opportunity to feel more deeply about the space, rhythm of life as well as the "breath" of that land.
However, with each place I go, I receive very large values. And I think that, whether it's experiential tourism or resort, it all aims for a common goal, which is to better understand the beauty of each land on the S-shaped strip of land.
In your opinion, what does Vietnam tourism need to do to attract more international friends?
- Vietnam is a country famous for its heroic history and long-standing cultural values. I personally believe that if we continue to maintain those beautiful identities, and at the same time find new, close storytelling methods, apply modern technology... suitable for many different ages, then the image of Vietnam will spread more and more strongly, getting closer to international friends.
I have also researched and found that international tourists today love experiential tourism. Meanwhile, Vietnam possesses many rich cultural features and very unique experiences. Therefore, it is important that we preserve those values, and at the same time find ways to bring the beauty of the country closer to the world.
When both preserving cultural identity and focusing on environmental protection and promoting inherent values, I believe that this will be the "compass" for Vietnamese tourism to develop more strongly in the future.
If you were chosen to become an ambassador for a specific location, which place would you choose?
- Actually, if I had to choose a separate location, it would be very difficult for me, because each journey and each land I pass through has its own beauty. Perhaps I am a bit "greedy", because I want to tell about the entire journey through the lands I have set foot in.
Each place brings me different values, from nature, culture to local identity. But looking back at the whole journey, what I want to tell most is still the story of Vietnamese people - people who are always close, friendly and resilient.
