The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 may extend the time to welcome visitors to some booths, instead of ending on December 22 as originally planned.

According to Lao Dong's own source, the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 can welcome people to visit some booths until December 23.

This year, the exhibition is considered to be large-scale, with remarkable changes in content and presentation form.

In particular, the event attracted a record number of visitors, with more than 148,900 registrations as of December 21.

According to Lao Dong, on the first day the exhibition opened to the public, tens of thousands of people were present at Gia Lam airport from early morning to late afternoon. Despite the large number of visitors, security forces ensured the regulation of the number of visitors and maintained order.

On December 21 alone, the organizers gave away more than 31,000 bottles of water to visitors.

In order for the exhibition to continue smoothly in the following days, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien - Deputy Minister of National Defense, directed to expand resources, call on sponsors or consider using the defense budget to supplement dry food, drinking water and milk to serve the people.

Units are required to coordinate closely to best meet the public's needs for sightseeing and experience, in the true "spirit of serving the people".

The 2024 International Defense Exhibition will be held on a scale twice as large as the first time in 2022, attracting the participation of about 240 domestic and international defense industry enterprises.

At the exhibition, visitors can admire advanced military equipment, experience exciting activities such as simulated shooting, and learn about defense technology in Vietnam and the world.

This is not only an opportunity for businesses to exchange and share experiences, but also an opportunity for people to learn more about the country's defense forces.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to register online to save time at the entrance. Residents need to bring their ID or passport to verify their identity, or use the VNeID application.

To minimize overcrowding, visitors should travel by public transport such as buses, taxis, motorbike taxis, etc. to save travel time, because the parking lot is located far from the exhibition area.
