During the days of the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival on March 10th, Hanoi Zoo (Giang Vo ward, Hanoi) began to record a high increase in visitors. From early morning, many families brought their young children to visit and play, creating a bustling atmosphere at the entrance area, walkways and around the animal shed areas.
According to records, many young children expressed interest when they could witness animals such as elephants, deer, monkeys, birds, reptiles... Not only is it a place to play on holidays, Hanoi Zoo is also chosen by many parents as a real-world experience space, helping children gain more knowledge about nature and animals.



Not only families in the inner city, some tourists from neighboring provinces also chose Hanoi Zoo as a stopover in their holiday journey.
Bringing their children from Phu Tho to the zoo, Mr. Nguyen Duc Manh's family said that the family took advantage of the holiday to let their children go out after school.
I went from 4 am, more than 100km to this place, but I don't feel too tired because the children are very excited. The children really like animals, especially elephants and monkeys, at home the children only look through books and TV, so when they see it directly, they are very excited," Mr. Manh said.

Faced with the expected increase in the number of visitors during peak days, Hanoi Zoo has proactively implemented plans to serve people and tourists.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Minh Quyet - Deputy General Director of Hanoi Zoo Co., Ltd. said that the unit expects that during the 2 holidays of March 10 and April 30 - May 1, Hanoi Zoo will welcome about 120,000 - 140,000 visitors. During this peak season, Hanoi Zoo has strengthened the care of the animal herd so that the animals have the best physical condition, focusing on decoration, cleaning and combining organizing games to serve tourists.
In addition, we also organize series of activities that are talks about animals, animal habits, helping tourists, especially children, have a deeper understanding of animals, thereby raising awareness of environmental protection," Mr. Quyet added.
Representatives of Hanoi Zoo also said that in the recommendation, families need to proactively monitor young children, maintain general hygiene, and follow instructions at tourist areas. In the context of the increasing number of visitors during the holidays, the awareness of each tourist will contribute to creating a safer, civilized and friendlier entertainment environment.
