In February this year, the couple Tran Lam - Huong Hoa Cuong caused a stir when they revealed that because they were too disappointed with their youngest son Huong Huu and their eldest son, actor Huong Ta, the couple planned to hand over all inherited assets to their eldest daughter-in-law Quach Bich Dinh (Huong Ta's wife) to manage.

Talking about the current lack of contact with her youngest son Huong Huu, Tran Lam said that she is not too heartbroken, but very regretful about her previous parenting method.
She revealed that after he grew up, Huong Huu "was completely unable to advise him", and the deep-seated reason was related to his father, Huong Hoa Cuong, once being too indulgent to his son.
Tran Lam recounted that every time she wanted to teach Huong Huu when he was young, Huong Hoa Cuong repeatedly prevented it. "You say a word to him, he will cry to the point of almost fainting, and then his father won't let you say it," Tran Lam recounted angrily.
She said that at that time, she could not even say to her son a simple sentence like: "You are doing it wrong". The problems accumulated over the years ultimately made Huong Huu's personality increasingly difficult to control.
When his son grew up but still refused to listen, Huong Hoa Cuong finally decided to be tough, saying "it's best not to go back and forth". He even said to his son: "The money is still for you, but don't go back and make us angry, especially your mother". From then on, Huong Huu was almost separated from the daily life of the family.
Talking about their current relationship, Tran Lam said that recently the two mothers and daughters have become friends again. Huong Huu, who is about to turn 40, also suddenly sent his mother a sentence "I love you", making her extremely surprised.
Tran Lam believes that true love should not only be expressed in words. If you really love your mother, you should not do things that your mother opposes.
She affirmed that she did not favor her eldest son Huong Ta at all, but believed that feelings between people need to be nurtured from both sides. Motherhood cannot just be one-way giving.
The entertainment mogul emotionally said: "When you don't feel that person loves you, you will also be discouraged, love will disappear".
