According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in the Truc Lam rest stop project area, Truc Lam ward, Thanh Hoa province, in the last days of August, the construction unit is focusing machinery and vehicles to level, create ground and deploy some items.
Truc Lam rest stop is located at Km366+850 (right route) and Km366+920 (left route), belonging to the component project of National Highway 45 - Nghi Son on the North - South expressway in the East.
Records at the scene show that in both the right and left positions of the expressway, the project site is being leveled. Many excavators, vehicles and construction equipment have been mobilized to the construction site to excavate, transport soil and create ground for the construction of subsequent items.
Some initial items of the rest stop are also being implemented. However, most of the project area is still in the leveling and completion phase.
Talking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Appraisal Department, Vietnam Road Administration, said that so far the investor has completed the connection system and access roads to the rest stop area. Some items serving the immediate needs of traffic participants such as parking lots and toilets have also been arranged.
According to a representative of the Vietnam Road Administration, the contract progress is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
The project is affected by the progress due to slow site handover. Currently, the investor is focusing on implementing items to ensure progress according to the contract" - representative of the Appraisal Department, Vietnam Road Administration said.
