Every year, on Valentine's Day, the T&D's Cats of the World wildlife reserve in Middleburg, Pennsylvania (USA) provides a unique fundraising service.
The service allows customers to send the name of their ex-lover to write on a peanut butter cookies, which will then be used as food for the Wolves in the reserve.

This is not only a humorous way to relieve emotions but also an opportunity to support the work of wildlife protection.
Ms. Jennifer Mattive, co-owner of T&D's Cats of the World, shared that this event started during the pandemic and quickly became a popular annual activity.
Sharing with ABC News, Mattive said: "We will write the names of customers' ex-lover on the cookies for 5 USD and then throw them to the Wolves on Valentine's Day".
These cookies are handcrafted by volunteers in the reserve, with the shape of a gingerbread person - some even missing arms, head or legs, symbolizing the breakdown of old relationships.

After being prepared, the cakes will be placed on a plate and served to the four Wolves living in the reserve.
Not only entertaining, this event also plays an important role in raising funds for the conservation area.
The proceeds will be used directly to care for more than 300 starlings and birds at T&D's Cats of the World.
In fact, these services are quite popular in the US. The Bronx Zoo in New York is holding a "Naming a Cock" event, where donors can name a Japanese cockroach after their ex-lover for $15 USD.
The humorous and fun services related to ex-lover are mainly related to donating to animal protection funds.
