The US Department of Foreign Affairs announced plans to sell weapons lots worth more than $ 7 billion to Israel.

The US State Department officially announced the National Assembly on the plan to sell more than $ 7 billion of weapons to Israel, including thousands of bombs and missiles, just 2 days after President Donald Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in White House.

The sale of weapons takes place in the context of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas is still maintained. This is also a step in President Trump's effort to enhance Israeli's arsenal. At the end of January, shortly after taking office, Mr. Trump removed the postponement order to send 2,000 pound bombs (about 900 kg) to Israel, this transfer was previously paused by his predecessor.

According to the US Department of Foreign Affairs, information about 2 weapons sold to the US Congress on July 7.

A 6.75 billion USD package for ammunition, instructions and other related devices. This package includes 166 small diameter bombs, 2,800 500 pound bombs (230 kg) and thousands of navigation, fuse and other bomb parts with support devices. This delivery will begin this year.

The remaining weapon package includes 3,000 Hellfire missiles and relevant equipment at an estimated cost of $ 660 million. The delivery of missiles to Israel is scheduled to start in 2028 and the use of these weapons should be further trained by the US military.
