Appearing on the podcast program "SmartLess" recently, Jennifer Lopez did not hesitate to call the past 5 years a "chaotic period" and the last 2 years were the time she tried to step out of those upheavals to find herself again.
I have really understood myself better, today is completely different from 2 years ago. This healing process has given me the opportunity to cherish life and what I have built myself," the singer of "On The Floor" shared.
When the host asked about the pressure of an A-list star when facing personal failures in public, Jennifer Lopez admitted that she had fallen into a state of deadlock. She shared that there were times when she felt life completely collapsed right in front of her eyes, regardless of whether outsiders realized it or not.
Notably, the female artist revealed that the decision to cancel her global tour in the summer of 2024 was a major turning point that helped her wake up. Instead of running away from reality with stage lights and a tight schedule, she chose to face the crisis directly.
After the most recent divorce, I chose to stop everything. I canceled the tour, accepted to sit back alone in a quiet space and re-adjust my psychology. From a certain perspective, there is no one to blame here except myself”.
Jennifer emphasized stopping playing the role of victims in broken relationships. She said that although she does not deny that the other person has bad behaviors, the more important question each person must answer for themselves is "What are you doing and what are you letting your life run?".
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a relationship that lasted more than 20 years through many ups and downs. The star couple first met on the set of "Gigli" in 2001, quickly got engaged in 2002. However, too much pressure from public opinion at that time made them decide to cancel the wedding right before the ceremony was held and officially went their separate ways in 2004.

After many months of resolving complex legal procedures on property division, the separation procedures of the star couple were officially completed in December 2025.
