Brilliant career
Nguyen Van Quyet was born in 1991 in Thach That, Hanoi. He started his football career playing for The Cong club. In 2011, striker Van Quyet moved to Hanoi FC, starting his journey to assert himself at the capital team.
Over the past 15 years, Van Quyet has left many marks in the national championship, becoming one of the best players in V.League. He played nearly 300 matches - a number few players have achieved.

As of V.League 2024-2025, Nguyen Van Quyet has officially become the domestic player with the most goals in the history of the tournament. Certainly, the 33-year-old striker's achievements have not stopped yet as he is still maintaining his form despite turning 34.
During his years with the Capital team, striker Nguyen Van Quyet won 13 titles including: 5 V.League championships, 3 National Cup championships and 5 National Super Cups.
Van Quyet is also a player who has made many contributions to the national teams. The player who owns 2 Vietnamese Golden Balls has participated in many regional and continental tournaments, participated in 5 ASEAN Cups (formerly AFF Cup) and participated in the 2018 Asian Games (ASIAD).
Together with the Vietnamese team, Van Quyet won the 2018 ASEAN Cup, was runner-up at the 2022 ASEAN Cup, and reached the semi-finals of the 2018 ASIAD. He played 60 matches for the national team, scored 16 goals, and was captain from 2017 to 2019.

In October 2024, Nguyen Van Quyet suddenly said goodbye to the national team after the FIFA Days friendly match against the Indian team. This was the last match that the 33-year-old striker played in the "Golden Star Warriors" jersey.
Happy marriage
Huyen Mi and Van Quyet met for the first time when they happened to be on the same flight. The memorable encounter made the player born in 1991 determined to conquer the beauty's heart.
After more than 4 years together, the couple got married at a luxury 5-star hotel in Hanoi in May 2015.
In 2016, Van Quyet and Huyen Mi welcomed their first son - Van Quan, nicknamed Soc at home. In March 2024, the Hanoi FC star's family welcomed the fourth member - Com.

Striker Van Quyet and his wife Huyen Mi are relatively private about their married life, not sharing much about each other on social media. Although they rarely post moments together, every photo the couple makes public shows sweetness and happiness.
Huyen Mi is a companion and a solid supporter for Van Quyet to focus on developing his career. The "WAG" also understands and sympathizes with her partner's work. Therefore, Huyen Mi always takes care of her family and children.
Currently, Van Quyet and his wife own many valuable properties and expensive cars. However, the couple still chooses a normal, simple life like everyone else.
Van Quyet often uses an old motorbike worth less than 10 million VND to travel to training sessions with Hanoi FC, spending free time sipping a cup of coffee after taking his children to school every morning...
The striker born in 1991 also loves his wife and children very much. In every conversation or interview, he often mentions his son with pride.

Van Quan is still young but has a great passion for football. Van Quyet's wife is Nguyen Huyen Mi - born in 1990. She is the eldest daughter of Mr. Nguyen Giang Dong - former Chairman of Saigon FC. Huyen Mi is currently doing online business, cooperating with her younger sister Nguyen Quynh Anh - wife of center back Duy Manh.
