Youme Law Firm LLC said that Circular 95/2024/TT-BQP guiding the implementation of bonus regimes for subjects receiving salaries from the state budget under the management of the Ministry of National Defense officially took effect from December 25, 2024.
The subjects specified in Clause 1, Clause 2, Article 2 of Circular 95/2024/TT-BQP are entitled to an annual periodic bonus regime when their results are evaluated by competent authorities and classified from the level of task completion or higher, and will be entitled to an annual periodic bonus, specifically including the following subjects:
- Officers, professional soldiers, defense workers, defense officials and civil servants working in the Army (defense civil servants).
- People working in cryptography, people working in other cryptographic organizations at the Government Cryptography Department.
Pursuant to Article 3 of Circular 95/2024/TT-BQP, the annual bonus levels are stipulated as follows:
- For subjects evaluated and classified as having excellently completed their tasks: In 2024, the bonus is equal to 4 times the basic salary; from 2025 onwards, the bonus is equal to 8 times the basic salary.
- For subjects evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well: In 2024, the bonus is 3.5 times the basic salary; from 2025 onwards, the bonus is 7 times the basic salary.
- For subjects evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks: In 2024, the bonus is 1.5 times the basic salary; from 2025 onwards, the bonus is 3 times the basic salary.
Subjects receiving salaries from the State budget under the management of the Ministry of National Defense, receiving salaries from the State budget for 7 months or more in a year: The bonus level is equal to 1 time the bonus level prescribed above; in a year receiving salaries from the State budget for less than 7 months: The bonus level is equal to ½ time the bonus level prescribed above.
Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2.34 million VND/month.
Thus, in the case of subjects (including officers, professional soldiers, defense workers, defense officials and civil servants working in the Army, people working in cryptography, people working in other cryptography organizations at the Government Cipher Committee) who are assessed and classified as having excellently completed their tasks and have received salaries from the state budget for 07 months or more in the year, they will receive a new annual bonus from 2025 at a level twice that of the bonus in 2024, specifically as follows:
- Bonus in 2024: 9,360,000 VND.
- Bonus from 2025: 18,720,000 VND.
