$40 million security contract rejected by Elon Musk's ex-lover

HỒNG NHUNG |

Ashley St. Clair, billionaire Elon Musk's ex-lover, has just caused a shock when revealing the reason for refusing the $40 million security deal.

Ashley St. Clair has just revealed that she rejected a tens of millions of USD confidentiality agreement (NDA) from this billionaire after giving birth to his child. The 27-year-old beauty shared in the new episode of the podcast "Don Lemon Show": "I was very shocked when the agreement was sent via the self-deleting message feature on the Signal application".

St. Clair said that she received a request to sign the NDA from Jared Birchall - Elon Musk's asset manager. Initially, Musk only sent her and Jared a short message with the content of transferring 15 million USD to buy a house and make contingency funds. However, a few days later, Jared called to persuade her for 2 hours, affirming that signing a confidentiality agreement was a mandatory condition.

Ashley St. Clair immediately opposed this request, even though Elon Musk's side continuously raised the financial compensation level. She revealed that Tesla CEO then offered to pay $15 million in cash plus $100,000 per month for 20 years (total value equivalent to nearly $40 million) in exchange for her silence.

Ashley St. Clair said: "The clause stipulates that I am never allowed to speak ill of Elon, not to disclose any information about his life, including employees and affiliated companies. I told my manager that my conscience does not allow me to sign this paper.

Ashley is currently a mother of two young children, including a stepchild from a previous relationship. She affirmed that the decision to refuse the huge amount of money was entirely based on the interests of her children: "It was a moral decision. I would rather move to live in a cramped studio apartment with two children than sign that agreement.

In February 2025, Ashley St. Clair first publicly announced the identity of Elon Musk as the biological father of her son Romulus when the child was 5 months old. Just a few weeks later, Elon Musk continued to confirm welcoming another child with Shivon Zilis - CEO of Neuralink Company. This event raised the billionaire's total number of children to 14 with 4 different women.

The child-rearing partnership between the billionaire and Ashley quickly cracked. On TikTok last month, she hinted to followers that things started to become strange as soon as she became pregnant, and there were too many inconsistencies compared to what Elon Musk had promised before.

For his part, Elon Musk once denied some of Ashley's allegations in March 2025. He claimed to have provided her with $2.5 million and is still sending $500,000 per year, despite not being completely sure about the child's bloodline.

Currently, the two are falling into a tense legal battle. In a conversation with the media, Ashley St. Clair confirmed that she and Elon Musk completely cut off contact after she rejected the expensive security contract mentioned above. The incident happened right at the time when Elon Musk had just officially reached the milestone of becoming the world's first trillionaire billionaire.
