In episode 28 of the movie "Under the Lighted Window", Sinh quietly stood in a corner after seeing Son take Dieu home. Knowing clearly that Son intended to do so with Dieu, Sinh could only sadly withdraw because he felt inferior.
When he got home, Mr. Dang thought that Sinh had feelings for Dieu, so he was attached to and supported Dieu for many years. After Son appeared, Dieu stayed at the company and Sinh had to go out to work as a security guard, which made Mr. Dang indignant: "Who normal friends treat them so well, son? Dad doesn't talk about love, just about affection, friends can't treat them so well. Have you ever wondered why they have been fighting together for so many years and now separated on their own path. It's all because of you, is it new or old, is it because Son appeared?".
Dieu felt overwhelmed with disappointment when her father thought she was a pragmatic person, greedy for fame and fortune. Not stopping there, Mr. Dang continued to recall the story of Dieu bringing Duong back with countless compliments such as politeness, car pick-up and drop-off... This made Dieu even more resentful and burst into tears: "Dad, just think of me like that, just think of me as pragmatic, calculating like that".
In another development, the sister-in-law suddenly became gentle and went to clean the house for Bang. Seeing Van sleeping in a grocery store, the sister-in-law deliberately bumped into a chair, causing Van to wake up. "You were too careless, but Ms. Van is innocent, going to someone else's house to sleep is as natural as your own house," Bang's sister-in-law hinted.
I get carefree, sister. When I'm sleepy, I sleep at someone else's house, I never rob anyone's house," Van said, making her sister-in-law's throat stiff.
